Studio Policies
  • ADC will not offer refunds when classes are cancelled due to weather, blackouts, or emergencies beyond our control. We will do our best to ensure emails are sent out before 2:00pm regarding cancelled classes, and we will also post on our Social Media pages. 
  • If classes are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances due to weather, or emergencies beyond our control, ADC will not schedule make-up classes & there will be no refund. 
  • NSF fees of $30.00 will apply to any NSF cheques or returned payments for any reason.
  • If your fees are 30 days past due you will be at risk incurring late payment fees as well as a suspension from classes until fees are paid in full.
  • To withdraw from a class - you will need to speak with our office staff.  A refund will be determined according to classes and payment plans. 
  • Transfers to a different class are permitted until December 20th.
Studio Etiquette
  • All outdoor shoes must be removed and placed on the shelves before entering the studio. This is done as many dancers are walking around the studio barefoot. 
  • Any students with fees outstanding more than one month will not be permitted to attend class until the account is brought up to date.
  • No costumes will be issued until the account is paid in full.
  • Electronic devices such as cell phones, iPads, iPods, mp3 players, etc., are not allowed in class. 

  • Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. There is to be no running around, rough-housing, yelling, throwing etc., in the waiting room, hallways or lounge area. Parents are responsible to supervise their children who are not in class at all times. 
  • No food/drinks allowed in the dance rooms. Students are permitted to bring a water bottle into class with them. 
  • All students MUST adhere to the dress code for their specific class.
  • Students who come in late 3 or more times will not be able to participate in class and will have to observe.
  • Students, Parents and Siblings are asked to please respect the studio by helping us   keep clean and tidy. There are cubbies for your bags and hooks for your jackets.
  • Please ensure all garbage is placed in the garbage receptacles, and your space is tidied up after you are finished. If you require assistance please see the office staff. 
  • Students should arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts. 
  • Where possible, students should use the washroom before class so they do not lose valuable instruction time.
  • Students/siblings who are too sick to attend school due to fever/illness/or anything contagious should not attend dance class/enter the studio. Please stay home and rest, and help us prevent the spread of illness.
