COVID-19

 

 

At Ajax Dance Company keeping our dancers and families safe and healthy is our number one priority. We have put into place many procedures and protocols in relation to COVID-19 to be sure that you feel secure about sending your dancers to dance. All regulations are in accordance with the government guidelines and framework. All protocols are subject to change based on government guidelines.

 

• All Ajax Dance Company's contact information is required to be current, up to date and on file with ADC to help with contact tracing.

 

• Any person entering the facility must be wearing a mask. Masks are required to be worn at all times in common area such as waiting rooms and washrooms. Masks are not required to be worn while dancers are in the classroom.

 

• All parents, guardians & dancers must adhere to social distancing guidelines while in the facility.

 

• Any person entering the facility must sanitize their hands with our sanitization station upon entry.

 

• All persons entering the facility will be required to fill out a daily wellness check before arrival. This link will be sent out to all registered families and can be used daily.

 

• Temperature will be taken upon entering the facility.

 

• Ajax Dance Company's waiting room will only be open to dancers. Exceptions may be made dependent on the ratio set out in government framework.

 

• ADC will have two different entrances in an effort to avoid unneccesary exposure to dancers who are not in their classrooms. Studio A will enter through the front door while Studio B will enter through the back door.

 

• All classes will end 5 minutes early to permit the transition frrom one classroom to the next.

 

• Class ratios are dependent on government guidelines but will not exceed more than 10 people in each studio.Families are required to notify ADC right away if your dancer or family are showing any COVID-19 symptoms.

 

• Dancers will not be permitted to enter the facility If they or a family member has come in close contact with someone with symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Dancer will not be able to return to the physical facility for 14 days without written clearance from a medical physician.

 

• Should there be a forced closure of any kind ADC will provide classes in the most functional way possible, including but not limited to virtual platforms, rescheduled classes etc.

 

• All families are required to notify Ajax Dance Company's office by email should they be traveling or have travelled outside of the province.

 

• Each room within the facility will be provided with cleaning supplies approved by the government to clean commonly touched surfaces throughout the evening and between each class.

 

• Extra cleaning protocols have been put in place. Sanitizing commonly touched area will be done regularly .
